Dunnichen Community Company has been set up to buy the former Church of Scotland building at Dunnichen for use by the local community. This has entailed a lot of work adhering to government regulations. The latest achievement was tonight when the results of the postal ballot were announced. Result of ballot count held in Letham Angus on Monday 25 th June 2012, at 7 pm, and conducted by independent assessors. Number of ballot papers returned 222, Yes votes 208, No votes 12, Spoilt papers 2.
Many thanks to all who went to the trouble of returning their papers.
23 ballot papers have been received late. All are yes votes.
